School Creek / Sherman Creek For ATV Riding

The 17th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Nevada.

South of Elko and Jiggs, the School Creek / Sherman Creek are offers plenty of riding through meadows in ranch country.

To reach the ATV riding trailhead for School Creek / Sherman Creek from Elko, head southeast on SR227 towards Spring Creek. Turn south on SR228 towards Jiggs. Past Jiggs, turn west at Bald Mountain Mine turnoff. Continue for 26 miles to the south to School Creek.

Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding on Forest Service roads is limited to designated, signed routes.

Overall, School Creek / Sherman Creek is the 17th most popular ATV riding trail of all 27 ATV trails in Nevada.
