Date Flat / Fuel Break Staging Area For ATV Riding

The 69th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in California.

East of Modesto and Coulterville, the Date Flat Staging Area provides access to 10+ mile Timbrush Fuelbreak trail system. These trails are open to both ATV riding.

To reach the trailhead from SR99 in Modesto, head east on SR132 to Coulterville. Continue east on CR J20 (Greeley Hill Road) for 0.4 miles. Turn right heading southeast on Dogtown Road for 5.2 miles to the trailhead.

Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding is only permitted on designated Forest Service roads. To obtain a map of designated roads, contact the Forest Service HQ at (209) 532-3671.

Overall, Date Flat / Fuel Break Staging Area is the 69th most popular ATV riding trail of all 106 ATV trails in California.
