La Grange OHV Park For ATV Riding

The 60th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in California.

East of Modesto, the La Grange Off-Highway Vehicle Park has 150 acres open to ATV riding. The La Grange ATV riding area is on an old gold dredge area.

From Modesto, travel east on Hwy 132 (Yosemite Blvd), past Empire, past Waterford to the La Grange area. At a four way stop sign just prior to the town of LaGrange, turn South (Hwy 59) and proceed three (3) miles to the La Grange Off Road Vehicle Park, located on the left. There is a sign identifying the park and entrance.

Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding is only permitted on designated Forest Service roads. To obtain a map of designated roads, contact the Forest Service HQ at (209) 532-3671.

Overall, La Grange OHV Park is the 60th most popular ATV riding trail of all 106 ATV trails in California. Several of the better atv trails are nearby La Grange OHV Park including Hite Cove OHV Route, Red Lake/Coyote Lake OHV Route, Dusy/Ershim OHV Route, Spanish OHV Route, Miami Creek OHV Area and Clear Creek Management Area.
