The Dunes For ATV Riding

Southwest of Alexandria and Foresthill, the Dunes has 360 acres dunes and trails open to ATV riding. Open weekends.

To reach the Dunes from US10, Take Exit 44 Alexandria Exit, and proceed to GLEN MORA. When you pass the Glen Mora Water Tower on the right hand side, your close. You will pass a plant nursery and then a small bridge over Spring Creek. Immediately proceeding the bridge will be BOY SCOUT RD. A sign entitled "THE DUNES" will be on the corner of Boy Scout Rd. and Hwy 165. Drive down Boy Scout Rd until you pass Myers Rd. and the second road to the right there will be another sign entitled "THE DUNES". Hang a right and the Entrance is ahead.

Overall, The Dunes is the 7th most popular ATV riding trail of all 9 ATV trails in Louisiana.
