Rough Rider OHV Trail For ATV Riding

South of Riverdale in McLean County at Garrison Dam, the Rough Rider Off Road Vehicle Area is a 100 acre open riding area for ATV riding. There are 16.5 miles of ATV riding trails on an old railroad bed known as the Roughrider OHV Trail. It is on a hilly bluff overlooking the Missouri River near Garrison Dam.

Directions: From Bismark, take U.S. Highway 83 north to Junction Highway 200 and then 10 miles west to Riverdale. The trailhead is located at the Fort Rice Campground located along Highway 1806, approximately 20 miles south of Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park.

Overall, Rough Rider OHV Trail is the 1st most popular ATV riding trail of all 3 ATV trails in North Dakota.
