Shoshone Trail - East ATV Trails

East of Logan, the Shoshone National OHV Trail System consists of over 330 miles of roads and trails open to ATV riding in northern Utah.

To reach the ATV riding trailhead for Shoshone Trail from the intersection of US 91 and US 89 in Logan, go east on US 89 for 17.5 miles to Temple Fork Road. The trailhead is here.

Note: Like most National Forests, the trails and road are closed to ATV and dirt bike riding unless specifically signed open. Do not count on seeing a closure sign but expect to see an open sign. It is your responsibility to know which trails are open to your type of vehicle. Lately, it has been reported that the rangers in the Wasatch-Cache National Forest have been strictly enforcing closures and issuing Federal citations which require a court apperance and $150 fine.

Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding on Forest Service Roads is limited to designated roads. To obtain the latest map of designated roads, make sure to contact the Forest Service HQ at (801) 466-6411.
