Sturgill Peak Area For ATV Riding

Northwest of Boise and Cambridge in the Payette National Forest, the Sturgill Peak area has miles of trails and roads open to ATV riding.

A good place to start is the Mann Creek Guard Station. To reach the station from Cambridge, head southwest on US95 through Midvale. Turn right heading northwest on Mann Creek Road to the guard station.

Note: As of September 2007, ATV Riding is only permitted on designated Forest Service roads. Make sure to contact the Ozark National Forest HQ to obtain a map showning these roads at (208) 634-0700.

Overall, Sturgill Peak Area is the 29th most popular ATV riding trail of all 55 ATV trails in Idaho. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Sturgill Peak Area including Blackwell Lake / Fall Creek Saddle and Morgan Lake / Rainbow Lakes.
