Poker Flat For ATV Riding
The 90th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in California.

East of Chico and northeast of Oroville in the Plumas National Forest, the Poker Flat (#32) area is open to ATV riding. This route begins at Howland Flat, travels south past Table Rock, to the townsite of Poker Flat. A 4x4 camp is located there, along the banks of Canyon Creek. The route terminates at the Forest boundary at Poker Flat, but the road continues south to SR49. This route is considered easy to moderately difficult.
Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding is only permitted on numbered Forest Service roads and the ATV must have a red or green California ATV sticker.
Overall, Poker Flat is the 90th most popular ATV riding trail of all 106 ATV trails in California. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Poker Flat including Mammoth Bar OHV Area, Carnegie State Recreation Area, Clay Pit Off Road Area, Knoxville Recreation Area, White Pines OHV and Mi-Wok OHV.
