Mt Baber ATV Trails

Southwest of Salem and east of Newport, the Mt Baber ATV Trails are open to ATV riding. The trailhead is located 30 miles east of Newport on US20.

To reach the trailhead, head 2 miles east of Eddyville, turn south on Deer Creek Rd. and follow signs. From Elk City, go 5 miles on ElkCity-Harlan Rd. to Updike Rd. go 2 miles north to Mt. Baber staging area.

This area has a mandatory membership with a small nominal fee to ride the trails. They are managed by the Mt Baber ATV Club.

Overall, Mt Baber ATV Trails is the 27th most popular ATV riding trail of all 44 ATV trails in Oregon.
