Clarke Mountain OHV Trail System For ATV Riding

Northeast of Pierce in the Clearwater National Forest, the Clarke Mountain OHV Trail System has 25 miles open to ATV trail riding. The trails offer beautiful views of Orogrande Creek and North Fork Clearwater River drainages.
The best trailhead is the Cottonwood Creek trailhead on FS250.
Note: Trail 602 is steep and winding -- for expert riders only.
Note: ATV riding on Forest Service roads is permitted only on designated routes that are marked. Also, all ATVs must have a valid ATV registration.
Overall, Clarke Mountain OHV Trail System is the 44th most popular ATV riding trail of all 55 ATV trails in Idaho.
