Old Sampson Trail OHV Route For ATV Riding

The 40th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Idaho.

Northeast of Pierce in the Clearwater National Forest, the Old Sampson Trail OHV Route is a 4.5 mile route open to ATV riding. The trail follows the ridge dividing Mannering Creek and Blakes Fork. The route climbs about 800 feet in elevation from the Meadow Creek Road to the Divide Road. A loop could be formed with connections to the Palouse Divide Adventure Road 377 and the Meadow Creek Road 328.

Note: ATV riding on Forest Service roads is permitted only on designated routes that are marked. Also, all ATVs must have a valid ATV registration.
