Pocatello ORV Area For ATV Riding

The 34th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Idaho.

East of Pocatello in the Caribou - Targhee National Forest, the Pocatello ORV Area (aka Blackrock / Chinese Peak Trails) is open to ATV riding.

To reach the trailhead from the intersection of US 30 and I-15 Business in Pocatello, go south on I-15 Business for 8.25 miles. Go north on North Blackrock Canyon Rd. and travel about 1 mile to the parking area.

Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding on Forest Service roads is permitted only on designated routes. All ATVs must have a valid registration.

Overall, Pocatello ORV Area is the 34th most popular ATV riding trail of all 55 ATV trails in Idaho.
