Northwest of Vernon, the Death Canyon Trail is a 35 mile route from Simpson Springs Campground to Death Canyon that is open to ATV riding.

To reach the Simpson Springs Campground ATV riding trailhead for the Death Canyon Trail from Vernon, head north for 5 miles to the Pony Express Trail (a dirt road). Turn left heading west/southwest for 25 miles to the campground.

Overall, Death Canyon Trail is the 42nd most popular ATV riding trail of all 75 ATV trails in Utah.
