Rose City Trail For ATV Riding

The 36th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Michigan.

North east of St Helen, the Rose City Trail is a serires of connecting loops totalling 15 miles that are open to ATV riding.

To reach the Ambrose Lake ATV riding trailhead for the Rose City Trail from St. Helen, go north on St. Helen Rd. for 2.5 miles. Turn right on Rose City rd. (CR F28) and go 10 miles. Take a right on CR F7 (Fairview Rd.) and travel 1 mile. Turn right on CR 28 (Houghton Creek Rd.) and go 1 mile. Take a left on Piper Lake Rd. and look for parking on the left.

From the trailhead, ride north to connect with the Rose City Trail.

Overall, Rose City Trail is the 36th most popular ATV riding trail of all 54 ATV trails in Michigan.
