Chevelon Crossing Road For ATV Riding

The 37th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Arizona.

Near Heber in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, the Chevelon Crossing Road (FS504) is a 17 mile route open to street legal ATVs. It is located at the bottom of a canyon.

To reach the ATV trailhead for Chevelon Crossing Road from Heber, go about 1 mile west on SR 260. Turn north on FR 504. This road becomes the ATV riding route of Chevelon Crossing Road.

Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding is permitted on any Forest Service road that has a vertical number sign. Riding on Forest Service roads with a horizontal number sign requires a registered ATV and a valid drivers license.

Overall, Chevelon Crossing Road is the 37th most popular ATV riding trail of all 42 ATV trails in Arizona.
