Crescent Dunes For ATV Riding

The 20th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Nevada.

Near Tonopah, the Crescent Dunes is a 3,000 acre open dune riding area for ATV users.

To reach the ATV riding trailhead for Crescent Dunes from the intersection of US 95 and US 6 in Tonopah, go north on US 95 towards Hawthorne for 5 miles. Turn right on Pole Line Rd. and go north for about 9 miles. Turn right on dirt road leading to the dunes. The camping area is 2 miles in, next to the first large crescent-shaped dune.

Overall, Crescent Dunes is the 20th most popular ATV riding trail of all 27 ATV trails in Nevada. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Crescent Dunes including Logandale Trail System, Moapa Valley OHV Park, Nellis Dunes, Amargosa Big Dune and Bitter Springs Trail.
