Glen Cairn For ATV Riding

The 4th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Australia.

Near Lamington, the Glen Cairn area has tracks open to ATV riding. There are 15km of two-way tracks as well as numerous cow tracks.

To reach the trailhead from Brisbane, travel down the Mount Lindsay Highway, towards the Border ranges.

Take the Rathdowney Road and turn off at Laravale down Christmas Creek Road. Travel through Hillview and then onto Lamington (You are still on Christmas Creel Road). Travel over four one lane bridges - Lamington, Taylor, Pile and Dennis. After Dennis but before Foxlea Bridge, turn left at the sign for Glen Cairn. Access by standard road car is fine, however a 4WD and/or motor/quad bikes will be required if you wish to explore all of the the property.

Note: Prior permission is required before riding. This property closes during period of rainfall. Call before coming out.

Overall, Glen Cairn is the 4th most popular ATV riding trail of all 37 ATV trails in Australia.
