Near Surry, the Slades Park is open to ATV riding. There are 12 miles of trails spread over 300 acres.

To reach the ATV riding trailhead from Surry, go east/south on SR 10 for 7 miles to Poolesville. Turn right on SSR 650 and go about 0.5 miles. Turn right on Mount Ray Drive. Look for the park.

Note: Open daily from 9am to dusk.

Overall, Slades Park is the 6th most popular ATV riding trail of all 15 ATV trails in Virginia.
