Wandering Wiregrass Trail For ATV Riding
The 7th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Florida.

East of Ocala and northeast of Umatilla, the Wandering Wiregrass Trail (aka Paisley OHV Trail) consists of a 17 mile loop network of trails and roads designated for ATV riding. The Wandering Wiregrass Trail loop passes through dense longleaf pine habitat.
To reach the ATV riding trailhead for the Wandering Wiregrass Trail from Umatilla, head north on SR19. Turn right heading east on CR445 for 1.8 miles to the trailhead at the intersection with Powerline Road.
Note: All unlicensed vehicles are prohibited on numbered forest roads. As of July 2008, the State Of Florida requires riders under 16 years old to have taken an approved OHV safety course and to carry proof of course certification. The Wandering Wiregrass Trail is limited to OHV vehicles less than 50 inches wide.
Overall, Wandering Wiregrass Trail is the 7th most popular ATV riding trail of all 20 ATV trails in Florida. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Wandering Wiregrass Trail including Motocross of Marion County, Ocala North OHV Trail System and Ocala Adventure Trail.
