North of Chilliwack near Harrison, the Harrison East FSR route is open to ATV Riding. It is located on the east side of Harrison Lake. If you travel north from Harrison Hot Springs, you can access the Nahatlatch FSR and ride to Boston Bar, although you cannot ride right into town. There are numerous side roads along the way, along with logging camps and lakes. This is an active logging road.
Note: As of August 2008, the Ministry of Forests Regulations require all ATV drivers to be at least 16 years of age and have a valid drivers license to ride on Forest Service Roads. In addition, the ATV must have valid third-party liability insurance, which is typically around $120 per year. The Conservation Officers will issue a $600 ticket if you do not have proof of insurance.
Overall, Harrison East FSR is the 19th most popular ATV riding trail of all 61 ATV trails in British Columbia. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Harrison East FSR including Hale Creek, Harrison West FSR and Weaver Creek.
