Eagles Roost ATV Area
The 15th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Oklahoma.

West of Oklahoma City and southwest of Lone Wolf in Quartz Mountain State Park, the Eagles Roost ATV Area is an open riding area consisting of dunes and scrub brush.
To reach the trailhead from the East (Oklahoma City Area), follow US40 west to Exit 53. This is the Altus/Foss Exit and State Highway 44. Take Highway 44 south approximately 45 miles to Lakeview Campground Entrance. Continue on road past Lakeview and Cottonwood Campgrounds to Eagles Roost parking area.
Note: Since this is an open riding area, no official trail map exists.
Registration of OHVs (ATVs) is not required in Oklahoma, and there is no minimum age for riding such. Muffler and spark arrestors are required on State and Federal land and the OHV must be equipped with headlights for night riding. On-road use is prohibited with certain exceptions, notably riding on unpaved National Forest system roads.
Overall, Eagles Roost ATV Area is the 15th most popular ATV riding trail of all 19 ATV trails in Oklahoma.
