Winona State Forest For ATV Riding

The 19th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in New York.

North of Syracuse in northern Oswego County and southern Jeffereson County, the Winona State Forest has nice ATV riding that connects with the Tug Hill trails.

To reach the ATV riding at Winona State Forest from US81, take Mannsville Exit #39. Then head east on SR90 through Mannsville. About 2.75 miles out of Mannsville, county route 90 meets Dixon Road and turns to the right. This route bears left at the intersection with Wart Road and then right at Brown Road. The historical CCC camp is another mile down the road.

Overall, Winona State Forest is the 19th most popular ATV riding trail of all 26 ATV trails in New York. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Winona State Forest including Altmar Trails, Camden ATV Trails, Whispering Pines, Hannibal Trail, Oswego County ATV Club and Oswego Valley ATV ClubBarclay Trail.
