Gulf Of Alaska Trail For ATV Riding

The 27th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Alaska.

Near Yakutat in the Tongass National Forest, the Gulf Of Alaska Trail is a scenic 10 mile trail along the coast that offers sightseeing for whales. The trail runs the coast from Ocean Cape to Loast River. The route runs through the sandy beach and uplifted sand dunes.

Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding on Forest Service roads is limited to designated routes. The roads should be signed if they are open to ATV riding.

Overall, Gulf Of Alaska Trail is the 27th most popular ATV riding trail of all 27 ATV trails in Alaska.
