Chestnut Ridge Park For ATV Riding

Southeast of Buffalo and south of Orchard Park, the Chestnut Ridge Park has a couple miles of park roads open to ATV riding in the winter.
To reach the ATV trailhead parking on Newton Road from Buffalo, head west on US90 to Exit 55. Head south on US219 for 5 miles to the Powers Road exit. Head east on Powers Road for 0.7 miles. Turn right heading south on Chestnut Ridge Road (aka SR277) for 1.4 miles. Turn right heading west on Newton Road for 0.3 miles. Turn left into the Chestnut Ridge Park trailhead parking area.
Note: ATV riding is only permitted in the winter when the park is completely snow covered. A permit is required in advance.
