In Hants County, the 11.5km Eldridge Settlement Road is open to a variety of sports including ATV riding. Eldridge settlement road is a part of the old coach running from Yarmouth to Halifax. Its now mainly used as a logging road by locals. This route is used by many users to access several secondary trails.
To reach the trailhead, take Exit 7 off the 101 highway. Turn right. Take left by Pothier Motors. Follow this road. Go straight through intersection by Kwik-Way. Follow road past Avon Valley Golf Course. Turn right onto Elderidge Road. Road turns to dirt. Trail head starts 800 metres past the beginning of the dirt road where road quality deteriorates.
Overall, Eldridge Settlement Road is the 7th most popular ATV riding trail of all 12 ATV trails in Nova Scotia.
