Northeast of Melbourne and south of Mrytleford near Dandongadale, the Buffalo River State Forest has tracks open to quad riding.

To access the Buffalo River State Forest quad tracks, head south from Mrytleford on Buffalo River Road for 35km to Dandongadale. Turn south Abbeyards Road into the Buffalo River State Forest.

Note: In order to ride a quad in this area, the ATV must be registered and the driver needs to have a valid license.

Overall, Buffalo River State Forest is the 10th most popular ATV riding trail of all 37 ATV trails in Australia.
