Kelly Canyon Loop For ATV Riding
The 27th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Idaho.

Northeast of Idaho Falls and northwest of Swan Valley, the Kelly Canyon Loop at the Kelly Canyon Ski Area is a 5.4 mile loop open to ATV riding.
To reach the trailhead from Idaho Falls, head north on US15 to Exit #119. Head east on US20 to Exit #310. Head south briefly on SR43. Turn left heading east on E Iona Road for a couple blocks. Turn left heading east on US26. Follow US26 east towards Swan Valley. Before Swan Valley, turn left at the sigh for Kelly Canyon Ski Area near Poplar. Continue to the intersection of FS218 and FS217 which is where the ski area is located. The ski area is located at 5488 East Kelly Canyon Road in Ririe.
Note: ATVs will not be permitted to enter into the following National Forest campgrounds; Falls, Calamity, Big Elk Creek, and Alpine. The campgrounds listed will have a designated parking area for ATVs and ATV Trailers. All ATVs must be either parked in the designated area or put on the trailer and parked at your campsite if space is available.
Overall, Kelly Canyon Loop is the 27th most popular ATV riding trail of all 55 ATV trails in Idaho. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Kelly Canyon Loop including Railroad Right Of Way Trail, Sheep Driveway Trail, Bear Creek Trail, Highline Trail, Big Elk Creek Trail and South Fork Fall Creek Trails.
