North of Syracuse and southeast of Altmar, the Barclay Trail is a new addition to the ATV trails maintained by the Oswego County ATV Club. A club membership is required to ride these trails. Once you have a club membership, it is very important to stay on the designated trails and do not ride on any private property. These rules are being strictly enforced and you WILL be ticketed. Also, local landowners are watching and reporting in an attempt to close down these trails.

Overall, Barclay Trail is the 26th most popular ATV riding trail of all 26 ATV trails in New York. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Barclay Trail including Altmar Trails, Camden ATV Trails, Whispering Pines, Winona State Forest, Oswego County ATV Club and Oswego Valley ATV ClubHannibal Trail.
