Paunsaugunt - King Creek Loop For ATV Riding
The 71st most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Utah.

East of Cedar City and west of Bryce, the King Creek Loop in the Paunsaugunt trail system is a 17 mile route open to ATV riding. It ranges in elevation from 7,740 feet up to 7,760 feet. The King Creek Loop is open to dirt bikes up to full 4WD vehicles.
The main trailhead ATV riding staging area for the King Creek Loop is located at Tropic Reservoir Parking Area. There is potable water at Tropic Springs Water Stop. To reach the Tropic Reservoir Parking Area from SR12, turn right on East Fork Road (FS87). Continue on East Fork Road for 7 miles to FS572. Turn right on FS572 and continue around the reservoir to the trailhead parking area.
Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding is permited on designated Forest Service roads only and the ATV must have a valid Utah ATV sticker. For a map of designated open roads, contact the Dixie National Forest HQ at (435) 865-3700.
