South of Terre Haute near Dugger in Sullivan County, the 1,400 acre Redbird State Riding Area is the only State lands open to ATV riding. It is an old strip mine with clay hills.
West of Attica, the Badlands Off Road Park area is a 800 acre private area for ATV riding (open to the public). There are rolling, wooded trails through sand dunes, off-camber hills and extreme rock areas.
South of Muncie near Selma, the 2,300 acre Prairie Creek Park has 70 acres open to ATV riding. Motorcycles and ATVs have long used this trail system. The result is a honeycomb of paths bent on criss-crossing each other.
