North of Knoxville and northwest of La Follette, the 300,000 acre Royal Blue Wildlife Management ORV has 450 miles of ATV trails ranging from easy to moderate. There is leisurely riding for families and some challenging obstacles and creeks for the more adventurous.
West of Knoxville and northeast of Oliver Springs, the Windrock Mountain has 250 miles of ATV trails over 73,000 acres. The 62 trails are on property owned by the Coal Creek Mining Company and are maintained by Windrock ATV club.
South of Nashville near Mooresville, the Woolys Offroad Area is open to ATV riding. Current trails consist of easy to difficult trails that include obstacles such as rock bluffs, washed out trenches, hills, mud, loose rocks and open hills. The trails are spread out on 500+ acres.
