West of Monroe, the Cheese Country Trail is a 47 mile route along old railgrade from Mineral Point thru Darlington to Monroe. This flat trail traversed farmland and wooded ridges.
East of Park Falls in Price County, the Flambeau ATV Trail System has 60 miles of signed routes on rolling terrain. The trail system is highlighted by rolling terrain, tree lined corridors, wooden bridges, and vistas overlooking bogs and lakes.
Northwest of Friendship, the Adams County Parks maintains 20 miles of ATV trails. One of the more popular areas is located between Archer and Badger Avenues.
West of Park Falls in Rusk County, the 90,000 acre Flambeau River State Forest has 40 miles of signed ATV trails and 100 miles of logging roads. The Flambeau Forest ATV Trail is a 40 mile segment of trail that runs from Fishermans Landing north to junctions with the Tuscobia State Trail and the Dead Horse Run Trail.
Southwest of Kansasville in Kenosha County, the 4,500 acre Richard Bong State Recreation Area has 7 miles of trails for ATV riding on gently rolling terrain. There are many sharp turns and an optional water course. The trail is a series of three one-way loops.
Near Minong in Washburn County, the 20 mile Minong ATV trail connects the community of Minong with Sawyer County near Nelson Lake. This trail provides an ATV link between the Wild River Trail north of Minong and communities in Sawyer County. The trail runs primarily on County Forest Roads and township roads.
Near Birchwood in Washburn County, the 8-mile Spider Lake ATV trail is a loop trail starting and ending at the Spider Lake Resort near Birchwood. The trail circles Spider Lake and also has a connection west to Berry Rd and intersects Elbow Lake Road.
Between Port Wing and Iron River, the Battle Axe ATV Trail is a 19 mile route along an old railroad grade. The trail is sandy and passes through woodlands. This breathtaking route passes through hardwood stands.
Southeast of Minneapolis and south of Eau Claire, the Buffalo River State Trail is a 36 mile trek along an old railgrade through several counties including Trempealeau, Jackson and Eau Claire from the town of Mondovi to Fairchild. West of Washburn in Bayfield County, the Valhalla Trail is a 16 mile loop connecting Valhalla Winter Sports Area with the Tri-Co Recreation Corridor. The picturesque trail is on a loose sandy surface through heavily forest areas.

In Douglas County, a 47 mile stretch of the Wild Rivers State Trail runs from Superior south to Wascott. The trail passes through deep sections of the Douglas County Forest.
Northeast of Parrish in Langlade County, the Parrish Highlands ATV Trail is a 53 mile route with tbree trailheads close to Parrish. The trail is very scenic and traverses glacial moraines, upland hardwoods, cedar swamps, and small rivers and lakes. Terrain is rolling to very hilly.
