Adirondack ATV Club

Southeast of Watertown and northeast of Harrisville, the Adirondack ATV Riders Club maintains 230 acres for ATV riding. There are rolling rocky trails.  MORE INFO

Altmar Trails

North of Syracuse and southeast of Altmar in Oswego County, the 8,700 acre Happy Valley Wildlife Management Area has 28 miles of ATV riding over 2,500 acres. This is easy to intermediate riding through wooded, rolling terrain. There are an additional 11 miles of trails currently under development.  MORE INFO

Whispering Pines

West of Syracuse and southeast of Lyons, the Whispering Pines area has 20 miles of ATV trails over 1,000 acres. The trails have rolling hills, open fields, rocks and mud.  MORE INFO

Winona State Forest

North of Syracuse in northern Oswego County and southern Jeffereson County, the Winona State Forest has nice ATV riding that connects with the Tug Hill trails.  MORE INFO

Pendleton Trail System

Northeast of Buffalo and southwest of Lockport, the Pendleton Trail System (aka Lockport trails) is a family-oriented ATV riding area through farm country. The trail system consists of about 15 miles of trails open to ATV riding within the township borders. The routes follow old railway, gasline and powerline right-of-ways.  MORE INFO

Mt Vision Trail

West of Albany near Mount Vision in Ostego County, the Mt Vision Trail is a challenging 10+ mile ATV riding trail maintained by the Tri County ATV Association. The trail system crosses numerous farms whose landowners have given permission to the club. In order to ride ATVs on the Mt Vision Trail, you need to be a member of a club with an agreement with the Tri County ATV Association.  MORE INFO

Hannibal Trail

Northwest of Syracuse in Oswego County, the Hannibal Trail is a challenging route open to ATV riding. The two-way route has some narrow turns and rocky sections. Watch out for the extreme Badlands section which is for experts only.  MORE INFO

TeePee Campground ATV Trails

North of Albany and west of Brant Lake, the 125 acre TeePee Campground has 1.5 miles of ATV riding trails for beginners or peewee. The ATV riding trails at TeePee Campground are located in Brant Lake.  MORE INFO

Broome-Tioga Sports Center

South of Syracuse and northwest of Binghamton near Richford, the Broome-Tioga Sports Center has two tracks open to ATV racing. The first is a dirt track available in two configurations such as district races or as a national track. The second is a all-natural grass track that is typically used for grand prix style races or hare scrambles.  MORE INFO

Area 51 Motocross

East of Buffalo near Batavia, the Area 51 Motocross has an ATV track. This small area is very popular due to its convenience to Buffalo and Rochester.  MORE INFO

Barclay Trail

North of Syracuse and southeast of Altmar, the Barclay Trail is a new addition to the ATV trails maintained by the Oswego County ATV Club. A club membership is required to ride these trails.
