Near Ensenada, the mountain bike trails of the 5000 feet pine and granite Sierra de Juarez mountains are accessible via narrow Highway 3. The Sierra de Juarez trails pass crystalline pools and mulit-tiered waterfalls beneath huge granite peaks. Close to Ojos Negros, try ascending the jeep road up to Lake Laguana Hanson at 5,000 and camp in this park with the grandeur of Yosemite.

Note: Prior to 1997, the topographic maps developed by the federal government used the NAD27 CONUS datum. Starting in 1998, the government transitioned to the ITRF92 datum (some maps show both datum), which is pretty much identical to the WGS84 datum.

Overall, Sierra De Juarez National Park is the 10th most popular mountain bike trail of all 24 mountain biking rides in Mexico.
