Southeast of Geneva, the town of Chamonix is known as the alpine capital of Europe under the shadow of Mt. Blanc (15,000). It attracts hardcore summer and winter sport enthusiats, and the name of the game is extreme. The region is central to hundreds of miles of tracks and trails that are open to mountain biking.
