Moke Circuit For Mountain Biking

The 10th most popular mountain bike trail in New Zealand.

West of Queenstown, the Moke Lake Circuit combines several trail systems with road to form a nice loop. The loop starts from the Seven Mile Reserve parking area and follows Moke Lake road north for 6km up to Moke Lake. At the north end of the lake, head west on the Moke Lake Track as it winds around the western shores of the lake. On the southwestern side of the lake, continue south on the Lake Dispute Track (4WD and singletrack) down Glenorchy Road. Turn left heading east on Glenorchy Road and veer right into Seven Mile Reserve to explore the amazing trail network on the way back to the main parking area.

To reach mountain biking at the Seven Mile Recreation Reserve trailhead from Queenstown, head west on Kirachy-Queentown Road for 6km. Turn left into large unsigned parking area.

Overall, Moke Circuit is the 10th most popular mountain bike trail of all 41 mountain biking rides in New Zealand.
