Bodcau Recreation Area For Mountain Biking

Northeast of Shreveport in the northwest corner, the Bodcau Trail is a short but challenging 5 mile route. It has several steep, technical downhill sections.

To reach the mountain biking trailhead from US20, take the Haughton/Fillmore/SR157 exit, go north 10

miles to Tooties Grocery store and follow signs to Bodcau Recreation Area. After passing Fire Tower take a left and the trail head will be on the left.

After your mountain bike ride, dont forget to stop at Crawfish Hole #2 in Miden for some craydaddys and catfish.

Overall, Bodcau Recreation Area is the 7th most popular mountain bike trail of all 9 mountain biking rides in Louisiana.
