Otero Canyon Trail / Blue Ribbon Trail For Mountain Biking

The 11th most popular mountain bike trail in New Mexico.

East of Albuquerque and south of Tijeras, a cool rolling 8 mile mountain biking loop combines the Otero Canyon Trail going up with the Blue Ribbon Trail (#236) coming back down. Watch for numerous side trails to explore.

To reach the mountain biking trailhead from Albuquerque, head east on US40 to the Tijeras exit. Proceed south on SR337 for 3.5 miles to trailhead parking area near the NFS Cedro Campground.

Overall, Otero Canyon Trail / Blue Ribbon Trail is the 11th most popular mountain bike trail of all 53 mountain biking rides in New Mexico.
