East of Albuquerque and south of Tijeras, the Cedro Peak area has more than 30 miles of cross-crossing mountain biking trails. These rocky, winding trails can be challenging and difficult to navigate. Make sure to pick up the latest available trail map directly from the local Ranger Station.

To reach the mountain biking trailhead from Albuquerque, head east on US40 to the Tijeras exit. Proceed south on SR337 for 3.5 miles to trailhead parking area near the NFS Cedro Campground.

Overall, Cedro Peak Trail System is the 14th most popular mountain bike trail of all 53 mountain biking rides in New Mexico.
