Southwest of Potosi in the Mark Twain National Forest, the Council Bluffs Trail is a 12 mile mountain bike singletrack loop around Council Bluffs Lake through rocky terrain.

Overall, Council Bluffs Trail is the 20th most popular mountain bike trail of all 27 mountain biking rides in Missouri.
