West of Golden in the Dogtooth range of the infamous Purcells near Kicking Horse ski area, the Dawn Mountain Trail is a 25km network consisting of fourmountain biking loops from 2.5 to 7km long.
To reach trailhead from Golden BC on the TransCanada Highway, follow signage for Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, 12.5 km west of Golden on Kicking Horse Trail. Trailhead sign at the upper parking lot beyond the daylodge
