Southeast of Naples and southwest of Miami, the Everglades National Park has several options for sub-tropical mountain biking within the home of gators, panthers and snakes. Check out the paved shark valley trail past plenty of gators. Or try the Long Pine Key Trail which combines five miles of trails with five miles of road. Also, theres the Old Ingraham Highway Trail starting near Royal Palm Visitor Center and runs 22 miles round-trip. Finally, check out the trails near Flamingo Lodge.

Overall, Everglade National Park is the 41st most popular mountain bike trail of all 58 mountain biking rides in Florida. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Everglade National Park including Oleta River State Park, Markham Park, Eagles View Multi-Use Trail System, Dyer Park and Fort Pierce Bike Trail.
