In southeastern England south of London and Leatherhead near Dorking, there are popular mountain bike trails are on the western sides of the Surrey Hills between Guildford and Dorking (see the Box Hill and Leith Hill areas).

Other trails include the Greensand Way (55 mi), and Downs Link (35 mi.) which connects nearby North with South Downs Way.

To reach Dorking from the M25, exit at junction 9 and follow A24 into Dorking. The Box Hill trails start behind the Rykers cafe.

Overall, Surrey Hills is the 4th most popular mountain bike trail of all 93 mountain biking rides in UK.
