Northeast of Lewsiburg and Marlinton near Cass, the Seneca State Forest (no relation to Seneca Rocks) has 23 miles of challenging, scenic mountain bike trails, including sections of both the Allegheny Trail and the Greenbrier River Trail. West Virginias oldest state forest is located within the Monogahelia National Forest and has excellent rustic cabins. Located 4 miles south of Dunmore on SR28.

Overall, Seneca State Forest is the 26th most popular mountain bike trail of all 32 mountain biking rides in West Virginia.
