North of Winnipeg, the Prime Meridian Trail is a 72.5 mile abandoned rail line that starts at Grosse Isle and ends in Fisher Branch. Use #6 Hwy to Grosse Isle access the beginning of trail. Access can also be made ate Inwood, Manitoba, take #7 HWY to Teulon then take Hwy 17 to Inwood to access the mountain bike trail from there.

Overall, Prime Meridian Trail is the 8th most popular mountain bike trail of all 8 mountain biking rides in Manitoba. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Prime Meridian Trail including Grand Beach Provincial Park and Birch Mountain Bike Area.
