Mountain View / Hardcore For Mountain Biking

The 87th most popular mountain bike trail in California.

Northwest of Mammoth Lakes in the Inyo National Forest, the well-marked Mountain View and Hard Core trails can be combined for a strenuous 11 mile one-way mountain bike ride with great mountain vistas. To reach the mountain biking trailhead from town, follow SR203 towards the ski area and park at the Earthquake Fault interpretive site on the right. From the lot, mountain bike ride back towards SR203 and turn right onto the dirt road. Follow bike trail signs. Follow signs carefully since there are other trails in the area. At 5.5 miles, watch for yellow blazed Hardcore trail turnoff.

Overall, Mountain View / Hardcore is the 87th most popular mountain bike trail of all 132 mountain biking rides in California.
