North of Glasglow and Callander in the Strathyre Forest, the Glen Ample Loop is a 38km mountain bike ride through the Strathyre Forest on tracks and trails.

To reach the mountain biking trailhead from Glasglow, follow the A81 for Callander. Next, turn onto the A84 and proceed 2.5 miles north of Callander to the car park.

From the car park, mountain bike ride another 3.5km north on the A84 to the forest entrance. Veer right onto the forest track climbing north. At 15.5km in Edinample, turn left on a road leading back to A84. Head south on A84. At 20.5km, turn left going west into Balquhidder. Turn southeast through Strathyre and back toward the car park.

Overall, Glen Ample Loop is the 33rd most popular mountain bike trail of all 93 mountain biking rides in UK.
