Rowlands Creek Falls Circuit Trail For Mountain Biking

The 16th most popular mountain bike trail in Virginia.

South of Marion in the Mount Rogers NRA, the Rowlands Creek Falls Circuit Trail combines singletrack and doubletrack for a rolling 12 mile loop.

To reach the mountain biking trailhead from Marion, head south on SR16 to Sugar Grove. Turn right on SR601 heading west to Teas. At Teas, continue west on SR670 for 4.4 miles. Veer left on SR656 for 1.7 miles. Turn left on SR668 (FS643). The trailhead is on the right.

The route is best ridden counterclockwise. Head west on old FS845 for 2.8 miles. Continue south on Jerrys Creek Trail for 1.3 miles. Proceed east on old FS84 for 4.5 miles. Turn northeast on to Rowland Creek Trail for 3 miles back to the trailhead.

Overall, Rowlands Creek Falls Circuit Trail is the 16th most popular mountain bike trail of all 27 mountain biking rides in Virginia.
