Southwest of Dallas and west of San Angelo, the San Angelo State Park has 50 miles of mountain biking trails through highly diverse ecological zones.

To reach the San Angelo State Park mountain biking trailhead from San Angelo, head south on US67 to FM2288. Proceed south on FM228 to the South Shore entrance.
