Village Creek State Park For Mountain Biking

The 29th most popular mountain bike trail in Texas.

North of Beaumont in Lumberton, the 1,090 acre Village Creek State Park has 10 miles of trails open to mountain biking.

To reach the trailhead from Beaumont, take US Highway 69/96 North; take Mitchell Road exit onto Mitchell Road (just before the US Highway 69/96 split). Go approximately .4 mile on the access road and turn east (right) onto Mitchell Road. Then turn immediately north (left) onto FM 3513 (Village Creek Parkway). Go approximately 2 miles and turn East (right) on Alma Drive. Cross the railroad tracks (veer to the left) and go 0.5 mile to park entrance.

Note: Due to a recent hurricane, about 650 acres of the 1,090 acres has up to 80% tree damage.

Overall, Village Creek State Park is the 29th most popular mountain bike trail of all 59 mountain biking rides in Texas.
